Create Your Own Egg Wrap
Serves 1
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- Splash of water or skim milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Spray a small non-stick skillet with cooking spray and heat over medium-high heat. Pour in the egg mixture to thinly coat the bottom on the skillet. Tilt the skillet as needed to allow the eggs to cook evenly. Remove from skillet and set aside.
Now it’s time to cook and add in fillings! Here are some examples:
Protein (1/2 cup cooked):
- Turkey Sausage/li>
- Turkey Bacon
- Deli turkey/lean ham slices or cubes
- Low Fat Cheese
- Shrimp
- Salmon
Vegetables (1/2 cup cooked or raw if desired):
- Spinach
- Mushrooms
- Tomatoes
- Peppers/li>
- Onions
- Avocado
- Asparagus
- Jalapenos
Start to roll over the wrap once starting from the bottom, fold in the ends and then continue rolling to complete making the wrap and enjoy!
